PirateWalla doesn't count all my items

Mads Furu 14 years ago updated by Kevin Lohman 13 years ago 5
The last week or so I have had a problem with PW. It doesn't count all my items, and that causes misleading search results and allmost doubled my GCD-score. I've got more than 400 items in my collection.

Expected behavior. Piratewalla only counts all your items the first time you launch it. It then checks for new items whenever you go to the map screen. (To refresh, you can go back and then click on the map screen again.)

2.7 Will have an item counter, to let you know it's progress as it counts your booty.
Hi Mads, thanks for the user name information... Are you getting false positives? Or is it just taking a lot less time to "Gather your booty?"... One of the new features of the latest version is that piratewalla caches the items it knows you have in your collection, (the first time), and then only checks for new items (subsequent attempts)... So that it works much quicker.
I also Get false positives, but only with the items I recently picked up. It is possible to reset the cache in some way, so that I can start counting from zero again? This way I keep filling my booty with stuff I've already got.
Thanks!
One of the interesting things about Gowalla is there isn't a predefined win condition :) Everybody plays it for different reasons. For me, I wanted to collect every item in the game (so I made PirateWalla)... If you have some goal that you play towards let me know, and perhaps I can put it in there.
Can't really see how this
